3/4 cup onion, chopped
3 tablespoons oil
6 cups water
1 chicken (or vegetable) bouillon cube
8 ounces fine noodles
1 teaspoon salt
2 10 ounce packages chopped broccoli
1/4 teaspoon garlic
Dash pepper
6 cups milk
1 pound Velveeta cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté chopped onion in oil. Add water and bouillon cube and bring to a boil. Add noodles and salt. Cook for three minutes. Add broccoli, garlic, and pepper.

Cook for four to five minutes. Add milk and cheese, stirring until cheese melts.

Passed down from my grandmother, Thelma Sollenberger. Growing up, this soup was almost better reheated the second day. This is a family staple I loved as a kid and now love to make as an adult.
