1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. minced onion
3/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 T. minced parsley
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. hot fat or salad oil
1/ c. flour
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. boiling water
3/4 c. sweet or cultured cream

Mix the meatball ingredients and shape into balls the size of a walnut.
Brown in:
1/2 c. fat or salad oil
Remove meat and stir the gravy mixture into the remaining fat.
Stir in the boiling water and the cream.
Return meat to gravy.
Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Serve with red potatoes.

This recipe is a Johnson favorite! On Christmas Eve, we always ate Swedish meatballs with red potatoes, lefse, salad, vegies, and lutefisk. Grandpa Johnson was the only one eating the lutefisk!
Dan and Shonah also served it at their wedding!
