8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar, not packed
1-2 tsps vanilla

Cream together the cream cheese and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer. Add the powdered sugar one cup at a time. Add vanilla. Beat frosting for a couple of minutes to make it fluffier. Spread on cookies or cupcakes.
