7 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c water
2 cups flour
2 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs beaten

Frosting
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven 375º
16 x 11 pan
Mix flour, sugar, salt and soda together. Put butter, water and cocoa in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour liquid ingredients over flour mixture mix well then add sour cream, eggs and vanilla. 1/3 c nuts optional
Bake for 15 to 20 minute

Frosting
Heat butter , cocoa, and milk over low flame, almost to boil. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
May add nuts to top.
