1 c. flour 2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp salt 6 T. baking cocoa, divided
1/2 c, milk 2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. hot water 2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, 3 T. cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Combine milk, butter, and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Stir in pecans. Spoon into 6 greased 6 oz. custard cups.
Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa (3 T.). Sprinkle over batter.
Pour 2 T. hot water over each cup. Place cups on baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cool on wire rack for 15 minutes.
Run knife around edge of each cup. Invert onto dessert plates. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Can top with dollop of cool whip or ice cream.
