1/4 c margarine or butter,(no tub or spread margarine)
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 seasoned salt or 1 T each of salt, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder and Grill Mates for steaks.
2-4 t red pepper sauce
3 c corn, rice, wheat Chex or other cereal like it
1 c peanuts broken in half
1 c of pretzels
1 c cheese bite crackers

Preheat oven to 250º. In a large baking pan enough to add the ingredients in, melt the butter Stir in all of the seasonings or the seasoned salt. Stir in the pepper sauce. Mix well.Gradually stir in the cereal, peanuts, pretzels and crackers. I just rub the peanuts through my hands to help half them or leave them whole. Bake in the oven for an hour. Every15 min, take from the oven and stir. After baked, line a good size baking pan with paper towel until cool. Store in an airtight container.

I make this for my son every Christmas. He expects it and says that is what he is looking for. You can make it in the microwave by putting it in a large microwavable bowl and doing the 15 min thing for an hour. I prefer the oven, but I have done the other too. I never thought about it, put I guess you could put out a clean dish towel for it to cool on if you do not have a large enough pan for it. I have a aluminium roaster pan that I use for the oven.
