6 slices thick cut bacon (cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
1lb ground pork
1lb ground beef
1 yellow bell pepper
1 orange bell pepper
3 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 medium onions
4-6 cloves of garlic
2 15 ounce cans fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans

Garnishes

Chives
Sour cream (Joel uses sour cream and I use Greek yogurt for healthier option)
Cheddar cheese
Lime wedges

Directions:
-Put bacon in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, cook until browned
-Chop onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Add to pot along with all spices. Let cook until onions become transparent and spices are aromatic.
-Add ground pork and beef. Cook until browned
-Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes
-Cover and let simmer for 1 1/2 hours
-Top with garnishes and enjoy!
