7 red potatoes peeled and diced
1\2 c. Potato flakes
1\2 stick butter
1\2 medium onion diced (optional) my boys won't eat with it in
1\2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Real bacon bits
Directions:
Directions:
In bottom of heavy sauce, pan brown onion in butter until translucent. Add potatoes and enough water to just cover them. Boil until potatoes are fork tender. Do not drain. Add butter and just enough Potato flakes to thicken but still be slightly soupy. Top with bacon bits and cheddar cheese.
