Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 1/2 C Short or Medium Grain Rice
1/4 - 1/3 Yellow Onion ( small dice )
1/2 Carrot , small ( small dice )
Equal amount to above , Mixed Frozen Vegetables ( peas , carrots , corn , lima beans , green beans )
2 T Butter
~ 1 T Chicken Base ( e.g. Better than Bullion )
2 or more t Salt , dash Pepper
1 3/4 C Water

Directions:
Directions:
- turn on rice cooker , add onions, carrots, mixed vegetable , butter , chicken base, salt and pepper and allow to cook
- when mixture is at a lively simmer and chicken base dissolves stir to mix
- add rice and stir to coat completely ( important )
- add water and close cooker
- watch cooker and when done allow pilaf to rest for 30 minutes ( lid closed ) before removing rice
- turn into pan and stir mixture
- can be used as is or fried with soy sauce and scrambled egg
