Directions:Spray a pan with cooking spray and put foil on it and spray the foil. This helps with cleanup. Put the pork roast onto the pan and cover with foil. Slow bake in oven at 325ºfor ttwo hours or until the meat is tender. Meanwhile, put all of the bbq sauce ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil and then simmer for 45 minutes until thick. When the pork roast is finished baking, take from the oven and let it cool until you are able to pull it into pieces or use two forks to shred it if you do not want to use your hands. Put into the pot with the BBQ sauce and cook on a simmer for an hour. Serve with buns, |

Notes: My family always loved pork bbq and I use to bake it like this and then simmer into the sauce for that long to get all of it blended into the meat. The cooking time is the long process to this dish. Now I have been cheating of late because I do not want to take so much time for two of us and do the above for just occassions that I take it somewhere. Then I go to the extra trouble. You can cook the roast in a crockpot until it is tender and use with your favorite sauce ( I like uncle Rays spicy) and then shred the meat the same and still cook in the sauce for an hour.
