3 slices bacon
bacon drippings/cracklings
1/2 head iceburg lettuce (or equivalent)
5 tsp vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon crisp, save the drippings. Remove bacon from skillet and crumble; set aside. Thinly slice/shred lettuce.
Add lettuce to hot grease and "fry" for a few seconds to wilt lettuce. Transfer to serving bowl. Sprinkle bacon and remaining ingredients over lettuce and toss well.
