1/2 lb mushrooms (chopped or pureed) ■ 1/4 cup butter ■ 1/2 tsp salt ■ 3 tbsp flour ■ 1 cup light cream ■ 2 tsp chives ■ 1 tsp lemon juice ■ White bread

Directions:
Directions:
Saute mushrooms for 5 minutes in butter. Add salt and flour. Stir in cream and cook until thick. Stir in chives and lemon juice. Cool while you prepare the bread. Cut off crusts and roll each slice with a rolling pin. Spread mushroom mixture on the bread slices and roll. Cut rolls into 2 or 3 pieces depending on preferred size. Bake at 400º for 10-15 minutes per side.
