3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cocoa
pinch salt
little bit of karo (tablespoon or so)
3/4 stick butter
1 tsp (or so) vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk ingredients together in a sauce pan. Cook over medium high heat to soft ball stage. Stir frequently (but not all the time) Remove from heat and add butter (aww....go ahead and add the whole stick - I do!) and vanilla and nuts (if desired - yep, I always desire nuts!)

Beat til not glossy and pour into 9x13 greased pyrex.

This is THE cocoa fudge recipe that used to be on the side of the box. To me, it is the only REAL fudge - my favorite - and judging by the way it disappears when I make it - it must be your favorite too!
