1/2 c softened butter
1 1/4 c sugar
2 eggs beaten
4 T sour cream
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 c mashed bananas (2)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 Grease 9x5 loaf pan.

Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and mix well. Add sour cream, flour, baking soda, vanilla and bananas. Mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes or until tester comes out clean.

Cool 10 minutes and turn out of pan. Allow to cool a little before slicing.

The sour cream makes this banana bread rich, moist and delicious. It was given to me by a very dear friend of our family many years ago and I have passed it along to many satisfied bakers!
