Ingredients: 2 -1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c honey
1 c brown sugar
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 regular box honey nut cheerios
1 regular box crispix
2 small cans honey roasted peanuts
2 c of pecans
2 c dried cranberries

Directions: |
Directions:Preheat oven to 250º
In large paper bag mix cereals and nuts. Shake to combine. Set aside.
In large roasting pan melt butter in the oven. Add honey, brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well with spatula. Heat mixture for 2 minutes and remove from oven.
Add cereal mixture to pan and stir well coating all of the cereal and nuts. Bake 20 minutes, stir, bake another 20 minutes, stir and bake last 20 minutes. Cool and mix in dried cranberries. Store in ziplock bags.
Note: The mixture will need to be broken up a little before eating as the honey makes it all clump together but the clumps are just as good! |

Notes: I made up this recipe years ago and make it every year for Christmas with the cranberries. It is very festive and apparently addictive because my friends call it "Claudia's Crack"!
