2 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 large chopped onion
2 - 15 oz. cans tomato sauce
3 - 5 oz. cans tomato paste
6 cans water (tomato paste size cans)
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. sugar (Yes, that's correct - 4 tbsp. sugar)
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. oregano
*Large bag of your favorite tortilla chips

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef or turkey and onion in a large pot. When onion is soft add tomato sauce, paste, water, sugar, salt, and remaining spices. Simmer for 3-4 hours. Remove garlic cloves.

On a plate, spoon sauce over tortillas chips. Top with any- or all of the suggested toppings-chopped lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, green pepper, olives, jalapeno, shredded cheese, sour cream.
