French Toast-

1 Loaf of French Bread
8 lg Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Milk
1 1/2 Half and Half
2 Tbs Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Dash of Salt

Praline Topping-
2 Sticks of Butter
1 C Packed light Brown Sugar
2 C Chopped Pecans
2 tsp Light Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:

Bread-
Slice French bread into 1 inch thick slices. Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9x13 baking dish or disposable pan.

In a large bowl combine the eggs, half and half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and salt and beat with beaters until blended.

Pour Mixture over all the bread slices, making sure to cover evenly. Spoon some of the mixture of the the crust and and between slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

The next day pre-heat oven to 350º. Dump out the excess milk mixture in a cup. Use excess to make sure all bread is covered. Then throw away rest.

Praline Topping-
Spread Praline topping evenly over the bread and bake 40 minutes. Or until lightly golden and bread is puffy.

Serve with Maple Syrup if desired.
