5 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate
1 stick unsalted butter
6 eggs, separated
6 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler, or saucepan placed inside a bigger saucepan filled with boiling water. Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until the mixture becomes white and thick. Slowly add the melted chocolate, gently beating all as you go. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they become firm and fold them into the mixture. Place the chocolate mousse into a large serving bowl, or small individual bowls, and leave to set in the frigerator.
