6-8 MacIntosh apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
1 tsp. fresh lemon rind
1 cup raisens
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour or cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup Splenda
2 - 9inch pie crusts
__Icing__
1 cup confectioners sugar
1-2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º. Place 1 crust into a 9 inch pie pan.
Mix together apples, raisins, lemon juice, lemon rind, Splenda, cinnamon, salt and flour. Place into the pie shell and dot with butter. Top with the other 9 inch pastry and flute or crimp the edges together.
Bake at 450º for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 375º and continue baking for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
When pie is cooled, drizzle with the icing.

This is one of daddy's favorite pies. When daddy was sick, Wanda searched high and low to find a recipe for this pie. She tweeked the ingredients a bit and suprised daddy with this; he loved it and so did the rest of the family!
