1 1/2 to 2 # Stew Meat, Cut in pieces
1 Mild Onion
1 T Celery Seed
3 Carrots, Sliced
1 Small Turnip, Cut in pieces
3 Large Potatoes, Cut in pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Mix beef, Cut up Onion, Salt, Pepper, Celery Seed and 2 Cups of Water.

Simmer for 1 hour on stove top. Then add Turnip and cook for 15 minutes. Add more Water, if needed. Add Carrots and cook for 15 minutes more. Taste and see if more seasonings are needed. Last add Potatoes and cook until done. Should have 1 Cup or more of juice on bottom. Put all into 2 to 3 quart oven proof dish. Cover with a Pie Crust and bake until Crust is done.

Bake at 350 until Crust is golden.
