1/4 cup soft butter
1 cup sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
Drained raspberries, blueberries or sliced peaches
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 cup fruit juice

Directions:
Directions:
-Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
-Sift dry ingredients and stir into butter-sugar alternately with milk
-Beat until smooth.
-Pour into a 10x3x3 greased pan or a 2 qt. casserole
-Spoon fruit over batter and sprinkle with sugar
-Pour fruit juice over top.
-Bake 45-50 minutes
-During baking, the fruit and juice goes to the bottom and the cake forms top.
-Serve with cream, whipped cream or ice cream if desired
