3 c Water
1 tsp Salt
1 c yellow cornmeal
1 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
In medium sauce pan heat water to boiling
Reduce heat to medium and stir in salt and cornmeal
Cook stirring regularly until mixture is thick

Spoon cornmeal mixture into lightly greased 9x5 loaf pan
Cover and refrigerate over night

Melt butter in skillet over medium high heat.
Slice cornmeal into 1 in wide slices and cook in butter until golden brown on both sides. Serve with butter and syrup.
