Ham
Head of cabbage
Salt and pepper to taste
Can add onion
Potatoes if you want (red or white with skins)

Directions:
Directions:
Place ham in large 6 quart pot with enough water to cover, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 1-2 hours

Core and quarter cabbage head. Add Cabbage and potatoes to pot. Simmer on low. Will cook in about 20 minutes. Longer simmer together, more flavor.
Remove ham and tear off meat to return to pot.

Works good in crock pot also.
