1/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 T. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8" square baking pan. In small bowl, mix first 3 ingredients. Stir in melted butter or margarine until well combined. Reserve ⅓ c. crumbs. Pat remaining crumbs gently into pan. Bake 12-15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in small bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour over crust, sprinkle on the remaining crumbs. Bake 25 minutes more until set. Cool on wire rack. When cool, cut into 2" squares, cut each square diagonally in half. Yields 32 pieces.
