½ cup butter
2 squares chocolate
2 cups powdered sugar
3 eggs, separated
dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup vanilla wafers, crushed
1 cup chopped nuts
½ gallon ice cream of choice
Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and butter. Add sugar and egg yolks (one at a time).
Beat egg whites until very stiff and fold into chocolate mixture. Add salt and vanilla. Crush vanilla wafers and spread in bottom of 9"x13" pan (SAVE SOME CRUMBS TO SPRINKLE ON TOP OF SUNDAE)
Add chocolate mixture. Add layer of nuts. Soften ice cream and spread on top of chocolate/nut mixture. Top with crumbs. You can add a dollop of whipped cream on top with a Maraschino cherry of you like.
