2 cups extra sharp cheese (grated)
2 sticks margarine (room temperature)
2 cups flour (sifted, then measured)
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 teaspoon salt (level)
1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cheese and margarine well, add flour, with salt and cayenne, mix well. Add cereal, mix well. Roll into small balls with fingers and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press half of pecan in center or mash a bit with fork.
Bake at 375º for 10 minutes. Watch closely, as they burn easily. These freeze well, so can be kept for a long time.
