1 1/2 cups stewing beef chunks
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cups water divided
1 large onion cut into chunks
6 medium potatoes cut into chunks
6-8 carrots cut into small chunks
2 cups frozen peas
2 teaspoons beef bouillon powder
1 tablespoon flour
2 teaspoons salt and 1 teaspoon pepper
other optional vegetables to add: peppers, beans, kernel corn

Directions:
Directions:
Fry stewing meat in oil. Add 1 tablespoon of bouillon dissolved in 1 cup water, chunks of onions, potatoes and carrots. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes stirring every few minutes. Then add peas, peppers and corn if desired. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of bouillon in 1 cup of water and add along with salt and pepper to season. Cook covered on medium high for another 10 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Add 1 tablespoon flour mixed in 1 cup water to thicken. Stir and cook a few more minutes for desired consistency. Serve with biscuits, homemade buns or tossed green salad.
