1 pkg - 3 oz - Strawberry jello
1 1/4 c boiling water
1 pt vanilla or strawberry ice cream
1 - 1 1/2 c sliced or halved strawberries
1 baked 8-9" baked pie shell
Fresh strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Gradually add ice cream, stirring until melted then chill until thickened, but not set, 15-25 minutes. Fold in strawberries. Pour into a baked pastry shell. Chill until firm, 20-30 minutes. Garnish with whipped cream and additional fruit if desired.
To speed up setting, decrease boiling water to 1c. You can also use other flavors of jello, fruits and ice cream.
