2 1/4 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp each - allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 c melted butter
1/2 c sour milk
2 c blackberries with juice
3 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Mix sugar and spices, add melted butter and beat. Add sour milk, flour, baking soda and beat well. Fold in blackberries and juice. Bake for 1 hr.

Icing:
2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
Cook with 1 tsp baking soda, 1 c buttermilk to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and all butter and vanilla. Let cook, beat then frost cake when cooled.
