Ingredients:  
1/2 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar
1 c flour
3/4 c Milk
2 tsp baking powder
3 c blackberries or peaches

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a 9X13 baking dish.
Mix 1 c sugar, flour, baking powder and milk in a mixing bowl.
Pour batter over the melted butter.
Cover the top of the batter with fruit.

Sprinkle remaining sugar over the fruit.
Bake at 350 degrees until batter is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
