1/2 c. Butter or Margarine
1 c. Boiling water
1 c. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
4 Eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in boiling water, Add flour and salt all at once, stir vigorously. Cook stirring constantly, until mixture forms a ball that doesn't separate. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time beating vigorously after each until smooth.

Drop dough by heaping tablespoons 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake in a very hot oven at 450º for 15 minutes then in a slow oven at 325º for 25 minutes . Remove cream puffs from oven and split each in half.
Turn oven off and put cream puffs back in the oven to dry out for about 20 minutes. Then cool on wire rack.

Just before serving, fill centers with ice cream or the recipe Cream for Cream Puffs.
