2/3 C. shortening
4 eggs
2/3 C. water
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 C. raisins
2 2/3 C. sugar
1 16oz. can pumpkin
3 1/3 C. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 C. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Grease bottom only of 2 loaf pans. Mix shortening and sugar in large bow Add eggs, pumpkin, and water. Blend in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into loaf pans, baking until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly. Loosen sides of loaves from pans. Remove from pan. Freezes well.
