1 stick margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups quick oats
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine and pour over oats, mix with fork.
Combine sugar, baking powder and salt and add to oats mixture.
Beat egg with vanilla and add to mixture.
Add nuts.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Drop small amounts on foil lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
Cool and cookies will slide off foil.
