2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup water
1/2 tsp flavoring (1 dram of LorAnn flavoring)
food coloring
powdered sugar
cooking spray

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water in saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until candy boils. Once candy boils, do not stir. Boil until mixture reaches 300ºF or hard crack stage. Take pan off heat. Quickly add food coloring and flavoring. Stir quickly. Pour on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Let cool. Once the candy is hard, use the end of a butter knife to break it up. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and coat well to prevent sticking.
