Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 - 3 lbs. round steak (I use 3 lbs.)
flour
garlic salt
pepper
butter
1/2 cup water
1 can beef consume' (Campbell's makes it)
1 T Worchestershire sauce
1 T soy sauce
1 T hot sauce (Louisana or Tabasco)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 C sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Pound flour into the round steak, then cut the steak into 1" squares. Sprinkle it with garlic salt and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet and brown the steak in it.

Add the water, consume', and all the sauces to the skillet. Simmer for about 2 hours over very low heat, adding extra water as necessary.

After simmering, let it cool a little, then add the mushroom soup and sour cream.

Reheat and serve over rice (the best!!) or noodles.

**Pam's note - I skip the cooling off period and go ahead and add the soup and sour cream. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

Personal Notes:
Len's mother made this for dinner one night when I made my first trip to Woodward to "meet the parents." It was amazingly good and it was also the first time I liked rice. We have this for Thanksgiving every year now instead of turkey.
