6 large leeks (white only) chopped
1 small onion chopped
1/4 cup melted butter
2 large potatoes, peeled and diced (2 cups)
5 cups chicken broth
1/4 tsp. white pepper
salt
2 oz white wine
cfream (optional)
chopped chives

Directions:
Directions:
Boil on low all ingredients except the wine, cream and chives. After this cools, add to blender to purée. Add 2 ounces of white wine, cream to your liking, and heat without bringing to a boil. After bowls are full, sprinkle each with chopped chives.
