2 C. whole milk
1 C. Sugar
4 T. Flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 C whole milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 T. butter
3 T. cocoa
9-inch pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 2 C. milk until almost boiling, mix dry ingredients in a small bowl (sugar, flour, salt and cocoa); Stir dry mixture into 1/3 C. cold milk until moistened. Add beaten egg yolks. Add hot milk mixture and cook over low heat until thickened. Add vanilla and butter. Cool slightly before pouring into cooked pie shell.

Meringue
3 egg whites beaten until stiff. Add a dash of salt and 1/4 tsp cream of tartar until stiff.
Add 6 T sugar to the whipped eggs. Place on the pie, seal edges.
Bake 325 degrees for 5-10 minutes
