5 lb red potatoes
8 oz. cream cheese
¼ stick margarine or butter
1 cup sour cream
Salt
Milk

Peel and boil the potatoes. Drain water. Add milk – enough to make mashed potatoes consistency. Pile into baking dish. Preheat oven to 350° and bake for 45 minutes to one hour. Can be frozen or made the day before. May also heat in a crock pot.

This recipe is from my godmother, Ruth. She was a gifted cook along with my Aunt Louise. My mom said when they got together they would often discuss and share recipes. Our Dreyer Family holiday dinners were delicious and memorable!
