1 cup butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup sour cream
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well. Stir in vanilla, almond extract, and sour cream. Mix well. Stir in flour and baking soda. Mix well.
Roll into walnut size balls, roll in sugar and place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten using the bottom of a drinking glass. Bake 12 minutes or until slightly golden.

This recipe came from Grandpa Larson's aunt Mary. This is the lady I called Grandma Hanson, and she did treat me like a grandchild - even though she had over 100 grandchildren/great-grandchildren of her own. Fantastic woman. Super good baker.
