1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2-1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, shortening, and sugars. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla. Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to other ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake in 375º oven for 10-12 minutes.
