2 pkgs yeast
1/4 C lukewarm water
1 C milk
1/2 C sugar
5 C flour ( about)
2 tsp salt
1/4 C shortening
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
Scald milk - add sugar, salt and shortening.
Let cool to lukewarm - add flour to make a thick batter. Mix well.
Add softened yeast and eggs- beat well.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough- turn out on floured board and knead until smooth and satiny.
Place in greased bowl. Let rise until double. Punch down. Let rest 10 min. Shape into rolls.
Let rise until doubled- bake at 350 for 20 min.
May be made into cinnamon rolls, crescent rolls, tea ring, etc.
