Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 to 2 1/2 lb fresh steelhead salmon filet (with or without skin)
Fresh pesto sauce (either make your own pesto sauce, or get Contadina in the refrigerated fresh pasta section. Do NOT get the kind in a jar!)

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse the fish with water, then pat dry. Place on a large broiler pan skin side down.

Spread a thick layer of the pesto sauce on the fish. Don't be skimpy. I don't like to see any pink showing through the sauce.

Set the broiler to about 400º. Put the fish under the broiler, on the lowest shelf. Broil for about 20 minutes. Make sure that it's cooked through and all the meat is opaque in the center. Let it rest about 10 minutes and then serve. The leftovers are not bad cold the next day.
