4 pork chops
1 teaspoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste


4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
3 tablespoons butter
2 Honeycrisp apples – peeled, cored and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brush chops lightly with oil, season with salt & pepper and place in hot pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until pork has a nice crust. Transfer to preheated 400 degree oven and let bake 20 minutes, or until done.

Meanwhile

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt and pepper, and pumpkin spice. Add butter to skillet, and stir in brown sugar mixture and apples.
Cover and cook until apples are just tender. Remove apples with a slotted spoon and arrange on top of cooked pork chops.
