TURKEY BISCUIT TURNOVERS

3 tbs soft-style light cream cheese
2 tbs 99% fat-free condensed cream of mushroom soup se with 1/3 less salt
2 tbs evaporated skim milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp coarse ground black pepper
3 c. cooked and diced Turkey breast
1 tbs diced onions
1 tbs sweet red peppers
1 (9 oz can whole grain refrigerated biscuit dough (see note)
1 egg white lightly beaten
2 tbs fine dry seasoned bread crumbs
1/8 tsp coar

TURKEY AND BISCUIT TURNOVERS

Preheat the oven 350 degrees F . Lightly spray a cookie sheet with no-stick oil and set aside.

In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, condensed soup,milk, salt and pepper smooth. Add the turkey, onions, and sweet red peppers, if desired , mix until well combined.

Separate the refrigerated dough into eight biscuits. Roll two biscuits together to form a ball. Then use a rolling pin to roll the ball into a 6 inch circle. Repeat with remaining biscuits.

To assemble the turnovers, spoon about 1/4 c. of the turkey mixture on to half of each circle. Fold the other half of the circle over the filling to form a turnover. Seal the edges with the tines of a fork. Brush the tops with the egg white and sprinkle with the bread crumbs. Transfer the turnovers to the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: If whole grain refrigerated biscuit dough is unavailable; use 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough: make into 6 " pieces - total 4 circles
