For chicken:
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1 stick butter
juice of one lemon and rind
1 clove garlic
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper

Cook until rind of lemon is soft.

Directions:

Sauce with wine for chicken or shrimp:
1 cup wine (any kind)
1 stick butter
juice of one lemon and grated rind
1/4 cup Teriyaki sauce or Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (more or less)
1 teaspoon rosemary
salt and pepper

Cook until it boils.

Dad used the second sauce for his famous shrimp. He put the whole lemon in the sauce and cooked it until the rind was soft. When I make the sauce, I combine ingredients from both recipes.
