2 packages frozen, chopped spinach ( this recipe was written when frozen spinach came in boxes, so would have to guess on proportion!)
4 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs. flour
2 Tbs. chopped onions
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 spinach liqueur
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3/4 tsp. celery salt
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
Salt to taste if necessary
6 oz. roll of jalapeno cheese
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add flour, stirring until blended and smooth, but not brown.
Add onions and cook until soft but not brown.
Add liquid slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until smooth and thick.
Add seasonings and cheese, which has been cut in small pieces. Stir until melted.
Combine with cooked spinach. Put in casserole and top with buttered bread crumbs.
