1/4 C Butter Or Margarine
1 C Chicken Broth
1 /4 C Flour
1 C Hot Milk
Salt And Pepper -- to taste
Dash of Nutmeg

Directions:
Melt butter in stock pot, Add the flour and wisk to blend well. Gradually add the hot milk, stirring constantly. Add the chicken broth continuing the stirring and continue to cook until thickened. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Serving Ideas : Can be used as a white sauce w/pasta and vegetables. There are many variations to this recipe. In pasta w/four cheeses, three different cheeses are added to the mixture; and many times Ricotta and graded Romano or Parmesan cheese are also added. Experiment and find one to your liking .
