1 lb. Ground Sausage
1 lg can Show Boat Pork and Beans
1 jar Picante Sauce (Mild or Hot your choice)
1 c. 5 Minute Rice
1 sm Green Pepper
1 sm Onion
2 12 oz. cans of Beer (Regular Bush works good)
1/2 c. Dark Brown Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Open one of the beers and have a swallow then put the rice in a medium size bowl and pour the rest of the beer over the rice let stand until the rice absorbs the beer. Brown the sausage in a large pot and then add pepper and onion and saute until tender. Then open the second beer and have another swallow and pour the remainder in with the sausage and veggies and simmer until the beer has evaporated. Add the beans, rice and picante sauce and stir then add the dark brown sugar and mix well. Let simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
