HAVE (4) STERILIZED 1 GALLON JUGS READY
Place grape juice in jug - 3/4 full
Place sugar in 1 gal jug - 2 c. sugar
Place 3 c. raisins with water to cover, bring to a boil, stir, simmer 5 minutes, until soft. MASH with masher, this mashed raisin substance is called a "SLURRY" , the processing will have reduced the liquid to 1 c.
POUR 1/4c. SLURRY into 1 gal jugs....4 jugs in all (1c.) SLURRY
ADD 1 FULL envelope of yeast in 1 gal jug (1 tbsp.) place stopper and shake jug. - PLUG with stopper and Airlock; the 1 gal jug is now 3/4 full of liquid
LET set for 3 - 4 weeks; starts bubbling right away....
PROCESSING grape juice from grapes: Put in blender and process on purify and liquefy. Put processed grape juice in Juice Jug with spigot on bottom. Refrigerate overnight, let the pulp separate from juice, spoon pulp, leaving juice. Strain liquid through cheese cloth to make a clear. grape juice.
