1 16oz pkg Farfalle (bow ties)
1 ˝ tbsp olive oil
1 med red onion chopped
3-4 cloves garlic minced
1 bunch broccoli Rabe ends discarded and cut into small pieces
2 can white beans
1 lemon
1 tsp dried red pepper flakes
˝ tsp salt

Directions:
Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. Drain again and set aside. In a large nonstick saucepan over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add onions and sauté, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Add garlic and continue to sauté 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium-low, add rabe and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes or until almost tender then add the beans with about 4 ounces of its liquid and continue cooking until about half the liquid has evaporated, about 5 minutes. Add the drained pasta and red pepper flakes, sauté for an additional 2 minutes or until pasta is heated through. Season with lemon juice and salt and serve hot. The pasta can be sprinkled with grated cheese if desired.
